Youth Training
Professor João Crisóstomo Weyl Albuquerque da Costa is responsible for the project "Reporter Student: the press in school and in the community" that has been developed in the municipalities of Bragança, Viseu, Traquateua, Cachoeira do Piriá and Augusto Corrêa, in order to train young people of the rural area of the mentioned municipalities through workshops involving the use of office softwares, metareciclagem, besides broadcasting. For the implementation of the latter the project counts on the partnership of the Educative Communication Foundation (FCC), headquartered in the city of Bragança, and which has among its activities the promotion of educational actions through the use of broadcasting.
Interaction with basic education
Professor Jefferson Magalhães de Morais is responsible for the project "Teaching Students of the High School of Public Schools Programming Logic Using Visual Programming Environments", approved through the 2014-2015 Official Notice of the Institutional Program of Extension Scholarships (PIBEX / UFPA). The project aims to promote the teaching of programming logic for high school students of public schools in the metropolitan region of Belém, through the use of 3D visual programming environments. The project counts on the participation of the UFPA computer students, who act as training agents in the activities developed.
