GENERAL ORIENTATIONS
- The advisor must schedule the defense in the SIGAA 30 days before the defense.
- The substitute member must be indicated by e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
- If external members are participating in the PPGCC panel for the first time, the advisor must ask the participant to register his/her data in the external participant form.
- The delivery of the text to the board is the responsibility of the advisor and the student, respecting the deadlines agreed with the evaluation board.
- The secretariat will arrange for the approval of the Dissertation Board, based on the information filled in the SIGAA, in the PPGCC Collegiate Meeting.
- The student will be asked to send a photo to compose the defense disclosure banner on the program's social networks (@computacaoufpa).
- Disclosure will be carried out on social networks, on the program's agenda on the website and on the email list with the automatic message from SIGAA.
- The secretariat will send a set of documents to the advisors: Minutes of Defense; Defense statement of the Student who defended the work; Declaration of participation of the panel's professors and Signature Sheet of the final version of the work.
- The advisor will complete and collect the signatures of the panel members in the Minutes of Defense, as well as in the Signature Sheet of the final version of the work. If, during the defense, the panel requests changes to the title of the work, the advisor must notify the Program Secretariat so that the necessary changes can be made to the documentation sent.
- The advisor will deliver the Statements to the Student and the Assessment Panel Members.
- The advisor will send the completed and signed Defense Minutes to the Program Secretariat.
- The advisor will authorize the secretariat (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to receive the student's final text after checking whether the corrections requested by the committee have been made.
DELIVERY OF THE FINAL VERSION OF THE THESES AND DISSERTATIONS
- After preparing the final version, the student must generate the Work Catalog File in the FICAT system, available in the "ACADÊMICO - FICAT" menu.
- The defense panel signature sheet must be signed and inserted in the final version of the document.
- The student must complete and sign the Term of Authorization and Declaration of Authorship of Theses and Dissertations, to then attach it to the delivery form of the final version.
- The student must complete the delivery form for the final version of the thesis or dissertation.
- The secretariat will arrange for approval of delivery of the final text at a meeting of the PPGCC Board.
- If the student has an urgent need to issue the diploma, he must send the secretariat a document proving the urgency.
- The PPGCC secretariat will forward to PROPESP the necessary documentation for the issuance of the student's diploma.
