The program targets students who are Indigenous, Quilombola, People with Disabilities (PwD), Riverine, Extractivists, Transvestites, Transsexuals, and Foreigners in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability.

To submit, read the notice, paying special attention to section "5. Procedures for Application and Proposal Selection" that details the required documents, and fill out the "Annex I - Application Form and Commitment Term" included in the same document, preferably signing in the gov.br system.

Dear PhD researchers from PPGCC, the registration for the internal selection for sandwich PhD scholarship via PDSE - Sandwich PhD Program Abroad Notice (PDSE) PDSE/CAPES 2024 is now open.

The document can be accessed here. The registration is open until April 22, and for the approved candidates, the activities will begin between September and November 2024, with a duration of at least 3 and at most 6 months.

For submission, it is necessary to meet some criteria specified in the notice, including proof of fluency in the language that will be used during the sandwich period through specific exams or statements from supervisors, among others.

The Graduate Program in Computer Science at UFPA announces the selection notice for Special Students 2024.1. This notice allows interested individuals to take isolated courses from the program and use them for various purposes, such as professional development or credit transfer if the student is accepted as a Regular Student in selection notices for the Master's and/or Ph.D. programs.

The interested public must access the form available on SIGAA from March 4 at 8:00 AM until March 5 at 6:00 PM. Each candidate can select up to 3 courses they wish to take. Candidates will then be allocated to the available spots in the selected courses in the order of registration, with priority given to current special students without failed courses.

After the spots are filled, selected candidates must make a payment for the application fee through the FADESP system. The fee varies depending on the number of courses the candidate occupies, and those registered in CadÚnico with an updated registration can participate for free.

We are releasing the selection notices for the Master's 2024.1 and Ph.D. 2024 of PPGCC.

For Master's 2024.1, we are offering 48 vacancies with the application period open until 01/31/2024. This year, the process has some updates, such as replacing the research project with a letter of intent and changes to the recommendation letters, which are now more descriptive. Applicants should be aware that there is an application fee via FADESP, and the boleto must be issued by 01/26/2024.

For the Ph.D., 25 vacancies are available in continuous flow, with the final deadline on 11/29/2024. This process also requires the payment of an application fee via FADESP.

The Graduate Program in Computer Science and the Faculty of Computing, both from the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences at the Federal University of Pará, announce the opening for filling 2 (two) positions for higher education teaching through removal or redistribution.

The vacancies are intended for two profiles: 1 (one) for the area of Computer Architecture and 1 (one) for the area of Fundamentals of Computing. Submissions must fit one of the two profiles and will be evaluated by the boards of the mentioned subunits.
